Four INSTALL Contractors Dominate StarNet Awards
5/13/2010
Congratulations to four exceptional INSTALL contractors, who combined to dominate the 2010 StarNet Design Awards. Chicago's Mr. David's Flooring International and Vortex Commercial Flooring, New York's Consolidated Carpet, and New Jersey's Re:Source New Jersey won six out of the nine awards given! And, flooring materials used by these superior contractors were made by an overwhelming number of INSTALL manufacturer partners.
Mr. David's won Best Overall Project for its work at Chicago's Central Dupage Hospital in the pediatric short stay suite, using Tarkett-Azrock and Mannington. That same project also won a gold cup in the healthcare division. Mr. David's also took a silver cup in the healthcare category for its project at Chicago's Northwest Memorial Hospital's outpatient imaging center, using Bentley Prince Street and Johnsonite materials.
Earning a gold cup in the large corporate category is Consolidated Carpet, for its work in the Empire State Building for the Coty Beauty Lancaster Group. Consolidated used Karastan, Lees, Tarkett-Azrock, Armstrong, Johnsonite, Burke-Mercer and Roppe materials.
In the small corporate category, Vortex captured a gold cup for its Pfingsten Partners project in Chicago. Vortex used Karastan materials for this job.
Re:Source New Jersey collected a gold cup in the hospitality category for its work at the new Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Materials consisted of Roppe, Johnsonite, Koester, Ardex, Henry, Milliken, Bentley Prince Street, and Armstrong.
